“The entrance to the archaeological area and the museum is through Palazzo Fontana, a Renaissance building which has incorporated significant remains of the stage building of the ancient Roman theatre of Verona, which are still easily observable and distinguishable today. The building, so called after the name of the family who lived there in the eighteenth century and who conducted the archaeological excavations of the theatre, has on the ground floor the ticket office and an introductory room to the archaeological site, while on the upper floors there are some classrooms for laboratory activities, intended in particular for the use of school groups.” (Museo archeologico al teatro romano, Wikipedia)
