“The Church of Santo Domingo is a Catholic temple in the Spanish city of Granada, located in the historic center. It is located in the popular neighborhood of Realejo, presiding over a square in the center of which stands the monument to Fray Luis de Granada. Its construction began in 1512, and it is part of the Convent of Santa Cruz la Real.1 It began in the Gothic style, with no record of who was the author of its designs or the director of the works. Important elements of the Gothic aesthetic are preserved, such as its arches and vaults.
