“The doorways are each surmounted by a ceramic miniature howitzer, appropriate to the building's name, with strip windows lighting stairs above. The 5 centre bays have their metal framed casement groups recessed between tapered, receding ‘streamlined’ buttresses. Heavy projecting cornice on paired brackets; set back attic.
