Is this the Thames? I wonder how many people these boats rescue in a year? Do people fall off of ships?

This is a great picture and your link really opened my eyes to the dangers of living in a country surrounded with water. Such brave men who volunteer to save lives on boats like these.

Ah. I used to invariably give them my spare pennies when I was a kid. Nowadays I give to the SNSM. But I do have a RNLI sticker on my car. It's been on every car I've ever had. Cool London from Above shot.
