Good night! That is truly grotesque! I mean it's well done "sculpturally," but yikes! Maybe I'm just not a mythical person! ;-)
So many place to visit, so many things to see - beautiful!
I just need to read more about Roman and Greek mythology. Beautiful sculpture, perfect angle.
I love the colors and the baroque building. I find Cellini uninteresting, but here the color is the payoff. I love the strange muscles in the chest (looking more like bumps in the mud), and the gorgeous colors in the chest and leg.
I've posted this statue some time ago. It's beautiful!
