Years ago I wondered why Burger King and McDonald's would set up restaurants so close together and was told that it was good business...each brought in customers...

I dunno...It seems a shame that these outfits which offer heart attacks on a plate should spread their misery all over the world!

:-)

I've seen them across the street from each other but never this close. It makes for a cool picture.

Talk about the end of regionalism. . . . :(

Years ago, on a trip a broad, I made a 100 Km detour to eat a Whopper.

VP, I can understand your detour.
A big juicy Whopper is something I miss here in Israel.

The photo says something, not sure what, but something.

@ Dina - I'm sure in the 1990s there was a BK in a Tel Aviv mall. Did they shut down like in France?

Once in awhile, I will enjoy this stuff. I much prefer a real homemade burger though.
I guess this is what you call healthy competition! ;-)

I'll have to research your question.

I remember long ago when Tel Aviv opened a McDavid. hehe

I love this! It's not often you see them side by side :-)
