Cleopatra
The DUKW “Cleopatra” of London Duck Tours
London, October 2009
“Departing from Chicheley Street, just behind the London Eye, our amphibious vehicles drive past famous London landmarks such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square before a dramatic launch into the River Thames from our slipway at MI6 Headquarters. The vehicles we use for this ‘splashdown’ are known as ‘Ducks’ and they were originally used for the D-Day landings in 1944. No river cruise in London gives you the excitement of leaving the road and entering the Thames in such dramatic fashion and no river Thames boat cruise is as quirky as a London Duck Tour!” (About Us, London Duck Tours)

Did you ride on this thing? I've seen them, but have never had the opportunity to get on board. Looks like a fun trip although I'd be wondering throughout if we were going to sink!
Lovely light in this photo, VP!
I saw it on Piccadilly!
It's cute:)
They are so funny. These ducks ride so low in the water, it looks scary.
So funny! It seems to be sinking.
I've only seen these ducks out of water. I'd like to take a tour someday.
I did a duck tour once. It was an experience hehe. Nice capture!
