I had to embiggen this to see the bees clearly. What a unique piece of work; I've never seen anything quite like it. I do like it, though...it's attractive and probably has some meaning that I don't get...do you know what the writing on it says?

The Barberini bees, right? There was a busload of people in front of this one when I was last in Rome...
