Statue of John Betjeman by Martin Jennings
St Pancras International
Euston Road
London, January 2008
And in the shadowless unclouded glare
Deep blue above us fades to whiteness
Where a misty sea-line meets the wash of air
(From “Cornish Cliffs” by Sir John Betjeman)

Just another excellent photo. This is a really nice statue, too. I wonder what's in the bag...looks like it might be heavy poetry?
A-ha! I'd seen this statue at St Pancras, but had no idea who it was. Now I know ;-)
Interesting! I like it! I can see also beautiful building in the background!
@ Jacob - You may be right: according to this page of trivia on TV.com the bag is full of books.
@ Tinsie - Honestly, I had to check him out...
Are you going to show us the kiss next? ;-))
I love the blue!
