  1. Those "tables" remind me of desks in a school classroom. I like the outside dining offered by so many Paris cafes, but this looks rather blah...

    Did you eat there?

I suppose it's some hoity-toity place that costs a fortune!

  2. July seems so very long ago! I hope vehicles do't speed by this place as it seems rather close to the road.

  3. @ Jacob - The actual restaurant was just up the street, but I don't know much about it.
The building on the right is the Church of Saint Roch, they have a copy of the Ark of the Covenant inside...

  4. For some odd reason, I won't try that one.

  5. Maybe Ciel doesn't want to eat next to a trash dumpster. I'm not sure I do, either! Interesting pic. I love all the scenes of this remarkable city. The tables are so small, even if they are out where there's more space! I guess it's part of the charm.

Regarding chasing sea lions to get their photo (in focus). The challenge is that they swim under water where you can't see them, then they come up to breathe and you don't know where they will surface. You have to be quick to find them, then focus, and they are gone again. I have quite a few pix of the back of their heads and of their flippers!

  6. You've got to love these little places, just a few tables out on the pavement and they're ready for al fresco dining! I bet it looks a lot more enticing in the evening when the tables are set with tablecloths and cutlery.
