Are those really called "rifles"? Are they technically built like rifles inside? They look huge and scary, but I guess that's the point.

I was in the Navy, but never served aboard a ship. This one is now a museum...I wonder if it was used in WWII? I understand that sound of those guns going off was quite something!

HMS Belfast I have never visited. I like this shot, the symmetry of the guns appeals to me (not the guns though.)

I've just looked up Eurosatory, I had no idea that thing even existed. It isn't held anywhere near Versailles though, but in Villepinte, North of Paris.
